Law, Justice and Development Week 2016: Law, Climate Change and Development

The Law, Justice and Development Week 2016 will convene a broad community of development professionals who use law and justice tools to battle poverty and boost shared prosperity. The theme for this year’s event is “Law, Climate Change and Development”.
Law, Justice and Development Week (LJD Week) is an annual event organized by the Legal Vice Presidency of the World Bank. It also involves collaboration and participation of over 170 international partners of the Global Forum on Law, Justice and Development (GFLJD). The conference convenes a broad community of development professionals who use law and justice tools to battle poverty and boost shared prosperity. LJD Week attendees include: General Counsels and legal staff of International Financial Institutions; Partners of the Global Forum on Law, Justice and Development (GFLJD); Government officials from developed and developing countries; Development practitioners, lawyers and judges; Legal scholars, professors and students, and Civil society representatives.
